The Institute of the Americas has the fundamental objective of attaining “educational excellence.”
Based on the state of Baja California's official program that was established by the Secretary of Education, our school enriches its content through institutional and international programs, actively participating as a member of “Quality Schools” and providing continuing education programs to our staff, in the Spanish department as well as the English department.
The academic project is structured within the Bilingual System of Teaching: Spanish-English, which begins in preschool and guarantees that the second language, English, will be learned and consolidated during the elementary school years and continued in middle school.
At the moment, our school is the headquarters of the Binational Certificate Program for English teachers in Baja California presented by San Diego State University, and offers certification for our students in their third year of middle school.
